Inspiring Story: The Clever Boy

A man with his donkey carrying two sacks of wheat was

On his way to the market. After a little while he was tired

and they rested under a tree. When he woke up from his nap

he could not see the donkey and started searching for 

the donkey everywhere. On the way he met a boy, 

he asked the boy, "Have you seen my donkey?" 

The boy asked, "Is the donkey's left eye blind, 

his right foot lame and is he carrying a load of wheat?" 

The man was happy and said, "Yes, exactly! 

Where have you seen it?" the boy answered 

"I haven't seen it." This made the man very angry 

and he took the boy to the village chief for punishment.

The judge asked, "Dear boy, if you had not seen at 

the donkey, how could you describe it?" 

The boy answered, "I saw the tracks of a donkey and 

the right and left tracks were different from this 

I understood that the donkey that passed there was 

limping. And the grass on the right side of the road 

was eaten but the grass on the left was not. From that

I understood that his left eye was blind. There were 

wheat seeds scattered on the ground and I understood

that he must have been carrying a load of wheat. 

The judge understood the boy's cleverness and told 

the man to forgive the boy.

Lesson from the Inspiring Story:

This story teaches us that we should not be quick 

to judge the people.

I can sleep when the Wind blows

Years ago a farmer owned land along the Atlantic seacoast. 

He constantly advertised for hired hands. Most people were 

reluctant to work on farms along the Atlantic. They dreaded 

the awful storms that raged across the ocean, wreaking havoc

on the buildings and crops. As the farmer interviewed applicants 

for the job, he received a steady stream of refusals.

Finally, a short, thin man, well past middle age, approached 

the farmer. "Are you a good farmhand?" the farmer asked him.

"Well, I can sleep when the wind blows," answered the little man.

Although puzzled by this answer, the farmer, desperate for help,

hired him. The little man worked well around the farm, busy 

from dawn to dusk, and the farmer felt satisfied with the little 

man's work.

Then one night the wind howled loudly in from offshore. 

Jumping out of bed, the farmer grabbed a lantern and rushed 

next door to the hired man's sleeping quarters. Farmer shook 

the little man and yelled, "Get up! A storm is coming! 

Tie things down before they blow away!"

The little man rolled over in bed and said firmly, "No sir. 

I told you, I can sleep when the wind blows."

Enraged by the response, the farmer was tempted to fire him 

on the spot. Instead, he hurried outside to prepare for the storm. 

To his amazement, he discovered that all of the haystacks had 

been covered with tarpaulins. The cows were in the barn, 

the chickens were in the coops, and the doors were barred. 

The shutters were tightly secured. Everything was tied down. 

Nothing could blow away.

Lesson from the Story:

The farmer then understood what his hired man meant, 

so he returned to his bed to also sleep while the wind blew.

When you're prepared, spiritually, mentally, and physically, 

you have nothing to fear. Can you sleep when the wind blows 

through your life? The hired man in the story was able to sleep 

because he had secured the farm against the storm.

Inspiring Story:Signs of Happiness

There was a young couple who led a very happy life together.

 The only thing that they worried about was, whether their 

happiness would last forever or would they too would have 

to face problems.

One day, they heard that a wise old man had come to town; 

he could solve all kinds of problems and guide people. So the 

couple decided to visit the wise old man and tell him their 

source of worry.

The wise old man told them; "Travel around the world and seek 

a man and a woman who are perfectly happy as a couple. When

you find such a couple, ask them for a piece of cloth from the 

man's shirt, then keep that piece of cloth with you, and you 

always remain happy."

The young couple began their journey, to find the happiest couple

in their world. In one place they heard that the governor and his 

wife were the happiest people, so they went to their palace and 

asked them, "Are you the happiest couple?"

The governor and his wife replied, "Yes, we are happy in every way 

except for one thing; we do not have any children."

Well that didn't make the governor and his wife the happiest couple. 

So they continued their journey. They arrived in one city where they

had heard that the happiest couple lived. They went to their house 

and asked them, "Are you the happiest couple?"

The couple replied, "Yes, we are really happy in every way except that

we have too many children which make our life a bit uncomfortable."

No, this couple did not sound to be the happiest. And, so they continued

their journey. They visited many countries, cities, towns and villages

asking the same question but they did not find what they were looking for.

One Day the young couple came across a shepherd in the desert. 

The shepherd was grazing his sheep when his wife and child came along.

The shepherd greeted his wife and gently patted the child she was carrying.

She laid the mat and started to eat contentedly. The young couple came to

 them and asked them, "Are you the happiest couple?"

The shepherd and his wife replied, "Nobody is unhappier than the king." 

The young couple immediately realized that they were the happiest couple

and asked them for a piece of the shepherd's shirt, so that their happiness

 too would last throughout.

The shepherd said, "If I give you a piece of cloth from my shirt then I will

 be left without any clothes since I own just one shirt."

The young couple at once understood that it is very difficult to find 

perfect happiness anywhere in the world. The couple decided to return

to their own country. They went to the wise old man and related all that

had taken place. They also complained that his guidance was difficult 

to abide by.

The wise old man laughed and said, "Was your journey useless or did you 

learn something from it?"

The young man replied, "Yes, after this trip I have learnt that in this world, 

nobody is perfectly happy, only that person is happy who does everything 

to please Allah."

Noble Qur'an says: "And whosever follows My (Allah's) guidance, on them 

shall be no fear nor shall they grieve". (Holy Quran 2:38)

The wife said, "I have learnt that in order to be happy it is important 

to remember two things; first, all human beings should be thankful and 

contented with whatever they have."

Noble Qur'an says: "And your Lord declared publicly: if you are grateful,

 I will add more favors unto you". (Holy Quran 14:7)

"And secondly, for ultimate happiness one must always practice patience."

Noble Qur'an says: "Seek help through patient perseverance and prayers". 

(Holy Quran 2:45)

After that, young couple thanked the wise old man for his guidance 

and returned home. The wise man prayed for them and said, "Indeed 

the sign of happiness is in their heart and they have good manners and

if the lifetime is spent in pleasure of Allah there would be no differences

 in the existence of mankind."

Noble Qur'an says: "Whosoever follows My (Allah's) guidance, will not loose

 his way nor fall into misery. But whosoever turns away from My message,

 verily for him is a miserable life". (Holy Quran 20:123-124).

A Beautiful Story on Recession

This Story is about a man who once upon a time was selling vadapav

 by the roadside.  He was illiterate, so he never read newspapers.  

He was hard of hearing, so he never listened to the radio. His eyes 

were weak, so he never watched television.  

But enthusiastically, he sold lots of vadapav. 
He was smart enough to offer some attractive

schemes to increase his sales. His sales and profit went up. He ordered

more a more raw material and buns and use to sale more.  He recruited

few more supporting staff to serve more customers.  He started offering

home deliveries. Eventually he got himself a bigger and better store. 

As his business was growing, the son, who had recently graduated from 

College, joined his father. Then something strange happened. 

The son asked, "Dad, aren't you aware of the great recession that is 

coming our way?" The father replied, "No, but tell me about it." 

The son said, "The international situation is terrible. The domestic 

situation is even worse. We should be prepared for the coming bad times."

The man thought that since his son had been to college, read the papers, 

listened to the radio and watched TV.

He ought to know and his advice should not be taken lightly. So the 

next day onwards, the father cut down the his raw material order and buns, 

took down the colourful signboard, removed all the special schemes he was

offering to the customers and was no longer as enthusiastic. 

He reduced his staff strength by giving layoffs. Very soon, fewer 

and fewer people bothered to stop at his vadapav shop. And his sales 

started coming down rapidly, same is the profit.

The father said to his son, "Son, you were right". "We are in the middle

of a recession and crisis. I am glad you warned me ahead of time."

Moral of the Story:  

It's all in your Mind And we actually Fuel this recession 

much more than we think we do

1. How many times we confuse intelligence with good judgment?

2. Choose your advisors carefully but use your own judgment

A Wonderful Inspiring Tomato Story

A jobless man applied for the position of 'office boy' 

at a very big firm. The HR manager interviewed him, 

then a test: clean the floor. "You are hired" he said, 

give me your email address, and I will send you the 

application to fill, as well as when you will start. 

The man replied "I don't have a computer, neither 

an email". I am sorry, said the HR manager, if you don't 

have an email that means you do not exist. And who 

doesn't exist, cannot have the job. The man left with 

no hope at all. He didn't know what to do, with only 

$10 US in his pocket.

He then decided to go to the supermarket and buy a 10 KG 

Tomato crate. He then sold the Tomatoes in a door to door round. 

In less than two hours, he succeeded to double his capital. 

He repeated the operation 3 times, and returned home with 

$60 US. The man realized that he can survive by this way, 

and started to go everyday earlier, and return late. Thus, 

his money doubles or triples every day. Shortly later, 

he bought a cart, then a truck, and then he had his own 

fleet of delivery vehicles.

5 years later, the man is one of the biggest food retailers 

in the US. He started to plan his family's future, and decided 

to have a life insurance.

He called an insurance broker, and chooses a protection plan. 

When the conversation was concluded, the broker asked him 

his email. The man replied: 'I don't have an email'. 

The broker replied curiously, you don't have an email, and yet 

have succeeded to build an empire. Do you imagine 

what you could have been if you had an email?

The man thought for a while, and replied: an office boy!

The moral of this story:

1: Internet is not the solution to your life.

2: If you don't have internet and you work hard you can be a millionaire.

3: This man's biggest weakness had become his biggest strength.

Inspiring Story-Fruits of labour..

There once lived a rich businessman who had a lazy and 

fun loving son. The businessman wanted his son to be 

hard-working and responsible. He wanted him to realize 

the value of labour. One day he summoned his son and said: 

"Today, I want you to go out and earn something, failing 

which you won't have your meals tonight."

The boy was callous and not used to any kind of work. 

This demand by his father scared him and he went crying 

straight to his mother. Her heart melted at the sight of 

tears in her son's eyes. She grew restless. In a bid to help him 

she gave him a gold coin. In the evening when the father 

asked his son what he had earned, the son promptly presented 

him the gold coin. The father then asked him to throw it into 

a well. The son did as he was told.

The father was a man of wisdom and experience and guessed 

that the source of the gold coin was the boy's mother. The next

 day he sent his wife to her parent's town and asked his son to go 

and earn something with the threat of being denied the night meals 

if he failed. This time he went crying to his sister who sympathized 

with him and gave him a rupee coin out of her own savings. 


When his father asked him what he had earned the boy tossed 
the rupee coin  at him. The father again asked him to throw 
it in a well. The son did it quite readily. Again the father's wisdom 
told him that the rupee coin was not earned by his son. 
He then sent his daughter to her in-laws' house. He again asked 
his son to go out and earn with the threat that he shall not 
have anything for dinner that night.

This time since there was no one to help him out; the son was forced 

to go to the market in search of work. One of the shopkeepers there 

told him that he would pay him two rupees if he carried his trunk to 

his house. 


The rich man's son could not refuse and was drenched 

in sweat by the time he finished the job. His feet were trembling and 

his neck and back were aching. There were rashes on his back. 

As he returned home and produced the two rupee note before his 

father and was asked to throw it into the well, the horrified son 

almost cried out. He could not imagine throwing his hard-earned money 

like this. He said amid sobbing: "Father! My entire body is aching. 

My back has rashes and you are asking me to throw the money into the well."

At this the businessman smiled. He told him that one feels the pain only 

when the fruits of hard labour are wasted. On earlier two occasions 

he was helped by his mother and sister and therefore had no pain 

in throwing the coins into the well. 


The son had now realized the  value of hard work. 
He vowed never to be lazy and safe keep 

the father's wealth. The father handed over the keys of his shop 

to the son and promised to guide him through the rest of the life.

Moral of the Story: 


Some of the life's best lessons come from 

the hardest situations.

Pay Attention to The Source of Problem

One fine day, a bus driver went to the bus garage, started 

his bus and drove off along the route. No problems for the 

first few stops, a few people got on, a few got off and 

things went generally well.

At the next stop, however, a big hulk of a guy got on. 

Six feet eight, built like a wrestler, arms hanging down to 

the ground. He glared at the driver and said, "Big John 

doesn't pay!" and sat down at the back.

The driver was five feet three, thin and basically meek... 

Naturally, he did not argue with Big John, but he was not 

happy about it.

The next day the same thing happened - Big John got on 

again, said "Big John doesn't pay!" and sat down. And 

the next day and the one after that and so forth.

This irritated the bus driver, who started losing sleep 

over the way Big John was taking advantage of his size. 

Finally he could stand it no longer. He signed up for 

body building program, Karate, Judo and all that good stuff.

By the end of the summer, he had become quite strong; 

So on the next Monday, when Big John got on the bus and 

said, "Big John doesn't pay!" the driver stood up, glared 

back and screamed, "And why not?"

With a surprised look on his face, Big John replied, 

"Big John has a Bus pass."

Moral of the story: First be sure and pay more attention 

to source of problems before working hard to solve one.
